Purpose

 

As a Bottle Shop Attendant and Docent at March First Brands, you play a dual role in providing exceptional customer service in our bottle shop while also offering engaging tours and insights into the craft of distillation. Your primary responsibility is to assist customers in selecting and purchasing our premium distilled spirits, providing recommendations and insights into our products with enthusiasm and expertise. Additionally, you will serve as a knowledgeable guide during distillery tours, sharing the rich history and intricate process behind our craft spirits, and creating memorable experiences for visitors. With a passion for our products and a dedication to customer satisfaction, you contribute to the overall success and reputation of our distillery as a premier destination for craft spirits enthusiasts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing distilled spirits and related merchandise, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional customer service.

• Conduct engaging distillery tours for visitors, sharing insights into the distillation process, the history of the craft distillery, and the unique characteristics of our spirits.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in the bottle shop, including restocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and completing inventory checks as needed.

• Complete all required checklists diligently, including inventory reconciliation, cleanliness inspections, and operational procedures, to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Position Requirements

 

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and provide knowledgeable recommendations about distilled spirits, as well as to deliver engaging and informative distillery tours.

• Physical fitness and stamina to navigate stairs involved in the tour, ensuring the ability to lead visitors through the distillery facility comfortably and safely.

• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandise in the bottle shop, ensuring accurate stock levels and a visually appealing display for customers.
