Purpose
As a Line Cook at March First Brands, you are an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for executing the preparation and cooking of our delicious menu offerings with precision and care. Your role is essential in ensuring the consistent quality and timely delivery of dishes, showcasing the flavors and creativity that define our restaurant's offerings. With a focus on culinary excellence and attention to detail, you'll work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and uphold our standards of culinary excellence. Your dedication and skill contribute directly to the overall success and reputation of our craft distillery and restaurant, delighting guests with memorable dining experiences.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes.

Collaborate with kitchen team members to organize and prioritize orders, maintaining efficient workflow during peak service times.

Complete all required checklists diligently, including prep lists, temperature logs, and sanitation procedures, to uphold food safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations, as well as washing dishes and ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen area to support smooth operations.

Position Requirements

Prior experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques, including knowledge of cooking temperatures for proteins to achieve desired doneness.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring adherence to health code regulations and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating efficiently with colleagues and contributing to a collaborative and positive kitchen atmosphere.
