March First Brewing Announces 4th of July tailgating event with fireworks and live music

CINCINNATI - March First Brewing has announced a 4th of July “tailgating” style celebration that will happen on the 4th from noon until midnight. They are closing off their parking lot to make way for an outdoor stage, food vendors, and guest breweries.

March First is encouraging people to bring their own lawn chairs to lay claim to part of the lot with friends and family. In addition to the parking lot, the front and rear patios, beer garden, main taproom and back taproom will be open to give people maximum space to spread out.

Live music will begin at noon and will go all day. Chris Lee will open the day up from noon - 2pm, Stoney Doperella takes over from 3pm - 5pm, Hayden Kaye takes the stage from 6pm - 7:30pm, and The Bronson Arroyo Band led by none other than former Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo will finish off the night starting at 8:30pm.

It wouldn’t be a party without friends so March First invited two brand new breweries in town which will be joined with some veterans. Newly opened Third Eye Brewing and MPH Brewing will be joining Grainworks and FigLeaf Brewing companies in beer tents around the parking lot.

March First will be serving up their pizza alongside Red Sesame Korean BBQ and Vonderhaar’s Catering so far. A few more vendors may be added closer to the event.

Drink tickets for the outdoor beer tents will be available for $5. Partial proceeds from each ticket sold goes to the Sycamore Township Cemetery Endowment Fund and Sons of the American Revolution.

The evening will be capped off by the local Sycamore Township fireworks put on by Rozzi Famous Fireworks that can be seen from the parking lot and patio.

March First Brewing is located at 7885 E. Kemper Rd and parking will be available across the street at the Kemper Pointe public lots at 7870 E Kemper Rd or down Goldcoast Drive around the corner from the brewery.
